About us

Baghuset Pressefoto (Press Photo) are the freelance photobureau in North Jutland, Denmark. Based in Aalborg, we know and cover the entire northern, middle and western parts of Jutland, and we travel all over the world for our customers.

What we do

Photography and video for all media. Reportage, news, portrait, illustration, multimedia press releases etc. Photoarchive with many pictures from our region and elsewhere.

Photographers

Lars Horn: Studied photojournalism at St. Cloud State University, Minnesota. USA. Back home in Denmark he worked as a staff photographer at the newspape Vendsyssel Tidende and later at the weekly magazine Ude og Hjemme. In 1990 he decided to go freelance and formed the freelance press group Baghuset, a freelance collective for journalists and photographers. He works for national magazines, major newpaperes, University´s organizations and larger companies and corporations.

Lars has a passion for theater and is a highly recognized theater photographer. Over the years, he has photographed more than 225 plays and performances.

During the past 15 years he has facilitated photographer workshops in the USA, teaching news photography and how to shoot and edit short news videos on the fly.

In year 2000 he was a member of the jury at the Norwigan picture of the year competition.

Since 1996 Board member of the Danish Pressphotographers Union.

Michael Bo Rasmussen: Photojournalist, photographer. Educated at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.

Works in the newspaper industry and with video production before founding Baghuset Press Group together with colleague Lars Horn.

Performs photo and video assignments for the press, books, magazines, companies, institutions etc. for print and digital media.

Certified drone pilot. This gives the right to fly in the urban zones in compliance with applicable rules.
